Community Climate Action

In 2022, ACT supported the Horsey Hill Action Group in creating a shared vision for a new neighbourhood green space. 

ACT facilitated the process of developing and defining a shared vision for Horsey Hill, a thoroughfare in Belfast’s Holylands neighbourhood, with local community groups.

The output was a document defining a single cohesive vision for the new green space that took into account the many challenges and needs of the diverse members of the local community. The final document was a way to clearly show to the council and other potential funders the vision and objectives of the Horsey Hill Green Space initiative as well as its many potential benefits. 

The project is just the next step in an ongoing journey of regeneration galvanised and led by the local community which ACT was proud to support.
